Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Tangi Roadside Assistance LLC offers the following mobile services:

  • Jump starts
  • Vehicle unlocks (lockouts)
  • Tire changes
  • Fuel delivery
  • General roadside assistance

We do NOT offer towing or winch-outs.

All services are performed on-site and are considered “assistance only,” not mechanical or structural repair.

2. Customer Responsibilities

By requesting service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate location and vehicle information
  • Ensure your vehicle is in a safe, legal, and accessible location
  • Follow all safety instructions provided by our technician
  • Remain reachable by phone during the service
  • Have payment ready when required

If the vehicle is in an unsafe area, we may refuse service for safety reasons.

3. Service Limitations (Important)

Our services are assistance only. We do not guarantee that your vehicle will operate properly after service.

Examples (Customer Still Pays Full Service Fee):

  • Jump start provided but vehicle will not stay running (bad alternator, battery, starter, wiring, etc.)
  • Lockout attempt succeeds but vehicle has mechanical/electronic lock issues afterward
  • Tire change attempted but no spare tire, flat spare, damaged spare, missing tools, or unsafe wheel condition
  • Fuel delivered but vehicle still will not start

You are paying for the technician’s time and service, not the final mechanical outcome.

4. Payment Terms

Payment may be required before dispatch, upon technician arrival, or immediately upon completion of service. Service will not be performed without payment.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

A. Full Refund

You will receive a full refund ONLY if you cancel before we accept or dispatch your service request.

B. Partial Refund ($40 Mandatory Cancellation Fee)

If you cancel after we accept the job or after a technician has already begun traveling to your location, the following applies:

  • $40 non-refundable cancellation fee
  • The remainder of your payment is refunded

This fee covers driver time, fuel, scheduling loss, and route interruption.

C. No Refund

No refund is issued if:

  • You leave the scene
  • You provide the wrong location
  • You refuse service upon our arrival
  • Your vehicle is gone when we arrive
  • You fail to disclose critical information that prevents service

6. Liability & Damages

Tangi Roadside Assistance LLC always works with care. However, by using our services, you agree that:

We are NOT responsible for:

  • Pre-existing mechanical or electrical issues
  • Damage resulting from attempting to start or move a failing vehicle
  • Battery, alternator, starter, wiring, or ECU issues before or after a jump start
  • Cosmetic marks from lockout tools (normal risk on many vehicles)
  • Aftermarket alarms, tint, key fobs, wheel locks, sensors, or accessories
  • Tire studs, lugs, rims, or spare tire damage due to pre-existing conditions
  • Damage caused by rusted, stuck, or weakened mechanical components

You acknowledge that providing roadside assistance may involve interacting with fragile or failing mechanical parts that can break due to age or wear.

7. Safety Policy

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if:

  • The area is unsafe
  • Weather, traffic, or police activity creates risk
  • The customer exhibits aggressive, illegal, or threatening behavior
  • The vehicle is improperly positioned or unsafe to access

In these cases, the $40 cancellation fee still applies.

8. Service Time & Delays

Arrival times are estimates, not guarantees.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic
  • Weather
  • Police activity
  • Road closures
  • High call volume

No discounts or refunds are provided for delays outside our control.

9. Fraud & Chargebacks

Fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes will result in:

  • Permanent ban from services
  • Transfer to collections
  • Legal recovery actions if necessary

10. Agreement

By requesting service, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service in full.
